A few weeks ago, our charming grocery store in Forada reopened its doors to once again offer the purest essence of the island.
This is possible due to the hard work of Lina Colomar and Cati Bonet, who, with the intention of continuing the legacy of Vicente Riera Planells, have retuned the store after 7 years of closure.
After slightly rethinking the business due to the tough competition with large supermarkets, they bet on bringing back to their neighbors and visitors the typical products of our land, km0 and local producers.
Some of them quite special...
What will you find in Sa Botigueta?
The small shop supports other people who, like us, maintain and cultivate the land and livestock of Ibiza.
Seasonal fruits and vegetables are obtained through agreements with certified producers on the island, so that a circular and ecological economy is supported .
The cold cuts and sausages are sold by the cut without being packaged, and the select wine list is carefully selected by Joan Colomar (an expert in the field).
You can also buy peasant eggs, almonds from the Agricultural Cooperative of Sant Antoni, jams, oil, salt or honey made on the island, and an interesting variety of breads made by an independent baker from Es Broll and the oven from Can Blai.
Don't you want to come and discover what awaits you?
We are waiting for you in Sa Botigueta de Can Tixedó!
